We spent Thanksgiving Day with my parents in Roseville. Tyler tried real turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. He liked the turkey and the stuffing but not the cranberries as much. He had a fun day playing with his cousin Chance!

An Early Thanksgiving
Since we were going to be in Northern California for Thanksgiving, we had an early celebration with Collin's parents and grandparents. It was the first time his grandparents were seeing the new house. It was also good motivation to really get everything ready in the house - we had only been moved in for a week before we had the company! Grandma Judy taught Tyler how to rub toys on the tile, making LOTS of screeching noises. Thanks Grandma. It's one of his favorite games now! =) Good thing for Tylenol. We also went out to dinner to his grandparents favorite place - Black Angus. Who would have known we'd be at the same place twice in one month. Here are some pictures!

My First Meat
Tyler tried his first meat today. We started with Apple Turkey Cranberry in honor of the upcoming holiday - Thanksgiving!
Overall, he thought it was pretty good!

The Big Move
On Friday, Nov. 13 the moving truck arrived. We hired a company to move the furniture and boxes from the garage. Although we moved only 8 miles away, it seemed as though we were leaving for good. It was a tough day for all of us. Mongo went to doggy day care for the day. He wasn't sure about all of that! Tyler and Grandma hung out so that Collin and I could focus on the move. The movers did a great job of getting everything in the truck and moved into the new house. At the end of the weekend, we were unpacked and settled. It was a long weekend, but glad that it is over. To celebrate the move, we headed to a restaurant near our new home. Tyler enjoyed his first bite of pizza!

Happy Birthday
November 6 marked Collin's 32nd birthday! He spent the weekend prepping the yard at the new house for sod. I don't think he'll EVER use the rototiller again. The poor guy was sooo sore and tired. His parents came up to help. Judy did some weeding and Jerry helped Collin. I took a couple of trips between the two houses moving some of our things. In the afternoon, Judy and I had a mission - to get his birthday present. I got him a new 46" tv for the bonus room. We were able to sneak the TV and his massage chair upstairs while he was finished working. At the end of the afternoon we coaxed him upstairs. He was thrilled! That night we went out to dinner to Black Angus to celebrate. It was a great evening even though the boys were SORE and tired. Tyler's favorite part was drinking water from the straw!

Happy Anniversary
On November 4, we celebrated our three year anniversary! We were fortunate enough to have our friend Ashlea babysit so we could go out to dinner. We had a lovely evening at the Elephant Bar. Thanks Ashlea! A date night is so rare for us, it was a special treat.

Halloween
Happy Halloween! Thanks for all who voted in the poll. Tyler was a turtle!!! It seemed appropriate since his nickname since he was born was Tyler Turtle. While at Disneyland (Tyler's second trip) we found a Crush (from Finding Nemo) costume. It was too cute to pass up. He looked adorable. A few days before Halloween we went to a party at our local Gymboree Play & Music. They took some wonderful pictures.
On Halloween itself we had our friends the Perrys (Harry, Ashlea and Keaton) and the Simcoxs (Andy, Kim and Emma) and Collin's parents (Judy and Jerry) over. We had dinner, went trick-or-treating, passed out candy to the neighbors and enjoyed the laughter of three babies trying to figure out why their parents dressed them so funny!
