On Sunday we met our friends the Simcoxs and Collin's parents, Jerry and Judy, at the Americana - an outdoor shopping center. We had a nice lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. After lunch, the Simcoxs had to leave but the rest of us stayed and wandered around. They have a beautiful fountain in the center of the shopping center along with a playground and big grassy area. Tyler loves the fountain.

He and Daddy threw coins in and made wishes - it was his first time tossing coins and making wishes!

While Daddy was busy teaching him about throwing coins and making those wishes, he wasn't paying attention to Tyler's foot which ended up in the water!

He figured his foot was wet, why not let him touch the water with his fingers too! Silly boys!

Then it was time to pose with Mommy!

And a family picture - it's been a couple of months since we've gotten one of those!

Watching the water show with Grandpa Jerry!

And posing with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Jerry! The fountain makes a good backdrop!

Spending a beautiful afternoon at the Americana is on our to-do list again really soon. Tyler loved crawling on the grass, practicing his walking and eating cupcakes with Mommy! In no time he'll be ready for the playground and we'll be chasing him around the fountains! It was a wonderful day and a great way to spend a Sunday!
