Collin had tickets to take a client to a Lakers game. The day before the client canceled so we were lucky enough to be able to go. Tyler and I picked up Daddy and were excited to go see some basketball. This was not Tyler's first time at the Staple Center, but his first time watching a basketball game. Unfortunately it was a 7pm Tuesday night game...not great for bed time, but we thought we'd give it a shot.
We started with dinner at one of my favorite places - Lawry's Carvery. It was delicious! Then we headed inside to watch the warm up. He would love that.
Little did we know that this game was fan appreciation night. Because of all of the celebrating they were doing, the 7:05 pm start time actually didn't occur until 7:50. Tyler is usually in bed by 7:30, if not asleep! Once the game did start, he was REALLY excited!
He was such a trooper. We left at half time and he giggled and played the whole way to the car. Once in the car it was only a few minutes before he passed out. It was a great night and he had a great time. It won't be long before we have to get him a seat and that means no more awesome seats since Collin only gets two tickets to events! We truly enjoyed this opportunity though. Tyler woke up the next morning talking all about playing basketball! He is a fan that is for sure!
